A little sick

I've been a little under the weather today. I had a fever earlier so I took some Tylenol. I also have taken Echinacea, Vita C, Magnesium, Zinc, and Calcium every 4-6 hours. In addition, I took a green tea shot with some o.j. that made me feel a whole lot better. I've also drank tons of water. With all of this stuff I should be o.k. for tomorrow.

I try for these kinds of things not to get me down. I will battle it with full force. I hate being sick...well, not that anyone likes it, but I really hate it.

So if you guys are ever sick I suggest doubling up on the vitamins and minerals because your body requires more of it. Also, try not to work out vigorously; it will only make you sicker. The energy your body requires to fight off a cold or anything that you might have will then be used for the workout, and so it is left defenseless and that is the reason for it.

In any case I hope you guys don't catch anything.

Lots of positive energy,

Coach Yari

Let Me Take You By the Hand

Alright guys. I was thinking about this since my Thursday class. I was discussing with several students the subject of nutrition and I got great feedback on the foods that I selected for them to buy and consume. All of my clients have said that it is really easy to work with and it does not feel like a diet at all....and that is because it is true. You have got to remember that what you eat is part of your lifestyle. It has to be easy for you to do everyday, otherwise it will be temporary.

Although, I have come to realize that since my nutritional guidance is real easy to follow, it can actually be a problem. The reason for this is because it sounds too good to be true and then people will maybe start cutting out the carbs out of it, or not eat the almond butter because it is too fattening, or something that would seem like common sense (“Almond butter is fat, therefore it will make me fat”). Just like eating six times a day sounds too good to be true as well, so then you consume four meals. You often think “OMG (oh my God) I am going to gain weight eating six times." Am I right? THE THING IS THAT IT'S NOT TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Believe it or not.

I understand how you feel. I used to think in the same manner, but being a trainer now for 5 years, and all the studying and hands on experience that I have done has undoubtedly changed my mind. I have a lot of proof... a ridiculous amount!

So my point is, allow yourself to be open minded and let me guide you. If I give you nutrition guide a certain way, trust me it’s for a reason. So please, follow my lead. This is the only way you will truly trust that what you are doing works.

Oh, and in my opinion, don't allow others to interfere with the program that I am guiding you on. The reason for this is because everyone thinks they are experts, and if you listen to two or more people at the same time you will never know what works best and end up in a state of frustration and confusion. For those of you that are in my 6 week course or train with me one on one: Test it and if by the end of the first couple of weeks you don’t see results than you can go ahead and try someone else’s method and I will gladly give you your money back….. That is how confident I am. By the way I hope this is not taken in a taunting way, but rather in a way that you could feel comfortable in knowing that you are in good hands.

I love what I do and am extremely passionate about it. This causes me to read research for just plain fun and not work.

So, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know it I will research it!

Sincerely,

Coach Yari :)

I've been busy!

Heeeeeyyy,

I'm back. I haven't written in like a week. I've been extremely busy getting ready for my Get Fit in Six courses. I worked on it very thoroughly, making sure that everything is in place. Not only did I have to create my program to ensure that my clients get the results they want and need, but I also made welcome packets that included my Free Report "Five Biggest Mistakes in Weight Loss" and a nutrition guide that took quite a bit of planning. Today was our first class and it was great. One client, Dominik, is definitely the comic relief in the class in my opinion. I try to make it enjoyable as well even though they have to work very hard. Every time it more and more fun. I love training people!

Tomorrow is my second group of people. I have my Tues and Thrs, and my Monday and Wednesday group. So the fun begins again tomorrow for the new group.

Anyways,

Talk to you later.

And weight...Jared, gotta say that was phenomenal...4 inches around your waist in six weeks and 15lbs...impressive. Zandra ...very impressive, I loved your effort. Cynthia, Jill, Ceasar, Tiara, Deborah... that was awsome.

I would like to congratulate everyone for doing more than an exceptional job. Really and sincerely from the bottom of my heart! I truly hope that everyone enjoyed themselves. I will see most of you on the next round and look forward to it!

Just 2 more days to go!

Hey,

Im ok since my fall the other day. I still have a black, blue, yellow, green, and red bruise, but I'm Ok.
To my courageous camers:
We are almost at the final week. Just 2 more days and the 6 weeks are over. But your bodies will live on better than what you came with. You just have to continue on the journey that you started. That journey is to continue to treat your body with respect and give it the physical activity it needs to survive at its optimal level.
Think of it as planting a seed. In order for that seed to become a beautiful plant it must be watered. If you stop watering that plant then the plant will start looking deathlike until it actually dies. Your bodies are very similar. If you stop exercising health problems and appearance start to become an issue.
If you have taken that initial step already, why take any step backwards? Wether you continue exercising with my new Get Fit In Six course or just continue on your own, my job has been done. I have you as my witness. I promised you that this would jumpstart you into a new lifestyle and I certainly hope that you would chose to continue on this promising path. I also promised you that you would lose weight, feel better, be healthier, gain strength, tone up, and lose fat, and from what I can see and have told me, all of you that stuck with have done almost all, if not, all of that. Although we will really know on paper when we take the measurements and pics next Thursday.
I just want to tell every single one of you that you should feel proud and accomplished.

I wont say more "'cause it ain't over yet".

I can't wait till next week for the results and I wish you the best.

Love always,

Coach Yari
