I just Discovered a NEW Super Tasty, Healthy Snack!

I'm moving this weekend and have lots to do! So, of course, I bought groceries that were going to be easy to just "grab and go".

I bought the following:

  1. Blueberries
  2. Deli Honey Ham and Turkey (hormone free, and antibiotic free)
  3. Eggs
  4. Whey Protein Powder...from Nutrition + store in Boca Raton, Fl., but you can get it at http://www.americanwhey.com/
  5. Green Beans with Garlic (Pre-cooked at whole foods)
  6. Genesis Bread (sprouted bread, flour less)
  7. Stuffed Mediterranean Grape Leaves

    Today, I just felt like I wanted something different, but quick, 'cause I have to get back to training my Get Fit in 6 group at 6:30 PM. And,I didn't want a protein shake because I wanted something solid.

Prep time: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
  • Steamed Green Beans with Garlic Cloves(optional)
  • 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
  • Honey Ham

I took out my Green Beans and my Honey Ham, and it clicked! "Why didn't I think about this before? ...I don't know, but the combination is AWESOME!", I thought to myself.

I then wrapped about 8 green beans inside of one slice of Honey ham, and had 3 of those. Just perfect! What can I say? I'm a genius..ha ha!

If you happen to buy the green beans raw (not cooked), all it takes is about 5 minutes to steam them, and no need to add salt...the ham, or even turkey, if you wish, has all the flavor!

I got just about 12 grams of protein, Only 5 grams of fat, and tons of fiber and antioxidants! Yey!

I definitely encourage you to try it. It will hit the spot if you want something crunchy (don't overcook those green beans) and tasty!
