Salsa Dancing---Great Calorie Burner!

In addition to my 4-5 x a week workouts, I have found another way to enhance my healthy living. Salsa! It is so exciting, and wow, what a workout! I am fortunate enough to have a salsa instructor for a roommate. She not only gives me lessons, but we go out every Thurs and now Sunday nights to dance. I would definitely consider this my favorite cardio and core workout. On top of it all, it is fun, so it makes me want to do it for hours and I don't even know that hours have gone by.

If you can get out there and dance, do it! It really makes you feel alive. But, of course, don't give up your strength training, because this is really what will continue to keep your metabolism going and it will keep your tone and definition. I can assure you that salsa and other forms of dancing is great, but I will also assure you that I will never give up my squats, push-ups, pull-ups, planks, or my Get Fit in Six type training--the best interval type of training I have created to really keep me in my best shape. This is why I don't fatigue at all when I go out there and dance salsa for hours.

Don't worry guys; soon this will be available to all of you so you too can be in your best shape ever!
